January Pre-Orders 🚀
The January pre-orders for INFINITY and WARCROW have arrived at our shop and will begin shipping immediately. We’re confident they’ll be delivered on time, which is a great way to start the year!
Backorders and Restocks ⏳
We understand that backorders and restocks have been taking longer than expected. Here’s the current status:
- Delays and High Demand: Many items were ordered as far back as December due to high demand and production delays, particularly surrounding Warcrow.
- Restock Timeline: Corvus has communicated that we should expect our first restock of the year shipment to ship mid next week. This shipment will include all but the most recent backorders and restocks. Moving forward, Corvus expects to send our restock shipments weekly.
- Backorder Fulfillment: Most backorders are expected to ship next week (delayed from last week) to arrive and be sent to you the first week of February unless you hear otherwise from us.
We’re truly sorry for the delays and appreciate your understanding as we navigate these challenges.
Please bear with us during this time. The backorder system was designed for 1-2 week delays, and we didn’t anticipate relying on it for 3-4 week delays or fulfilling these items a month late. This extended timeline has been a lot for our small team to manage, but we’re working diligently to meet your expectations.

Collaboration with Corvus Belli 🤝
We recently had an extensive meeting with Corvus Belli to optimize our ordering and fulfillment processes. Here’s what’s changing:
- Streamlined Fulfillment: We’ve implemented new processes to prioritize backorders and streamline order fulfillment.
- Order Prioritization: Corvus and Warsenal’s order priority will be as follows. By placing orders separately, we ensure that each priority category is processed as quickly as possible. New Releases > Backorders > Extra stock
- Improved ETA Communication: With better ETA updates from Corvus Belli, we’ll resume and update our calendar to keep you informed so you can check anytime. You can access our Wholesale Calendar for the latest updates.
- Lead Time Expectations: Despite these improvements, Corvus has informed us to expect a 3-4 week lead time on orders, including pre-orders.
- We’ll place our pre-order numbers for the following month's orders in the second week before the end of each month. While we always order extra, balancing demand with fulfillment capacity is essential to avoid further delays. Placing your order earlier will help ensure timely delivery.
- Strange OOP/Availability: The reboxing of the Essentials line and updates to packaging have also contributed to availability challenges. However, we’ve resolved many of these issues and will communicate more about future availability changes.
Warcrow Production Improvements 🔧
Corvus Belli has expanded their Warcrow production capacity with additional machines and shifts. This means:
- Improved Production Capacity: Cast quality and production volumes are expected to improve significantly.
Warcrow Pre-Order Updates ⚔️
January Pre-Orders
Due to production challenges, the pre-orders for Black Legion Bucklermen and Orc Hunters have been canceled. Refunds are being issued for these items. We expect these products to become available at a later date, and we’ll provide updates as soon as we have more information.
We’re very sorry to be unable to fulfill these orders; since these models are available in the core box, many Warcrow players will already have some on hand to hold them over until they can get reinforcements. Please remember that even though the models are available in the core box, many issues can affect whether production for a given product is the best action.
Hetman Miniature Update
Corvus Belli has communicated to us that the Hetman miniature is intended to be an exclusive pre-order bonus for ordering the Warcrow Adventures box. As such, they will only fulfill Hetmen orders equal to the number of Warcrow Adventures boxes ordered. To streamline the process, we have consolidated the Hetman miniature into a bundle with the Warcrow Adventures box for efficiency in ordering.
We felt that Corvus understood that some fans and Kickstarter supporters would not have easy access to this model, but they feel that new fans deserve exclusive rewards as well. This approach helps everyone benefit from the attraction of new fans and players. We both welcome feedback and will take all considerations into account.
Anyone who has already ordered individual Hetmen will still receive the miniature, as we were not alerted to this restriction at launch. We apologize for any confusion and appreciate your understanding.
Backorder System and Bugs 🔧
At Warsenal, we’ve continuously improved our backorder system to ensure a smoother experience for all our customers. However, we’d like to address some recent bugs and challenges:
- Incorrect Backorder Emails: Some backorder system emails were sent out with incorrect dates. We’ve fixed the issue, and you should receive updated notifications with accurate details shortly. These earlier emails did not reflect the correct backorder forecast.
- Priority Misclassification: Some backorders were incorrectly categorized with "ship complete" tags. We’ve identified this issue and are actively resolving it.
- Backorder Labeling: In some cases, orders with multiple items were not marked as backorders on invoices. We’re refining the system to ensure they’re correctly marked.
- Ongoing Fixes: These bugs have been our top priority, and we’ll continue to find and fix any issues as they arise.
