This limited-edition terrain piece features graffiti murals by Eric Griffin, showcasing book protagonists Neko Oyama and Mizu in a striking urban tableau. The design brings to life the very moment captured in Gabriel Miller’s brand-new vignette, written just for this release:

Takeshi ‘Neko’ Oyama stared at the building in disbelief. The early morning sun cast an amber glow across the storage building—built to resemble a small shrine—that should have been mostly white. Instead, an action-filled tableau had been painted across its corner some time in the night. Takeshi stared at himself—blade in hand, mid-charge—amidst a scene of hastily painted cherry blossoms, Mount Fuji and… a tiger? Tracks of burnt synth-rubber led away from the roadside structure: motorcycles.

“Interesting, indeed.” Nakama’s voice preceded him as the monk came into view. “Our scythe-wielding Aragoto friend is on the other side.”

“Did she do this?” Takeshi was not quite angry, but still did not wish to see Mizu in any sort of trouble if this was indeed her doing. His hand tightened around the handle of his blade reflexively.

Nakama stared at him for a moment. The sea breeze spoke volumes where the two warriors could not. “The people need their heroes, Takeshi-sama.”
