What is MANHUNT?
MANHUNT is an unofficial, alternate mode for playing Infinity.
Players take on one of two roles:
- The Taskforce – A ruthless, state-backed unit of bounty hunters
- The Organization – A humanitarian resistance effort fighting for due process
Your missions take place in dense urban environments, safe houses, and alleys lined with suspicious civilians, hidden supply caches, and booby traps—all while tracking (or protecting) a Fugitive on the run.
A Different Kind of Mission
Unlike standard ITS missions, MANHUNT is less about fighting and more about playing out a dystopian fantasy and creating memorable stories through emergent gameplay and random chart results.
- Discoverable leads and secret caches
- Civilian interrogations that yield unexpected benefits
- Optional bounty hunter unlocks based on player reputation
- Insideous booby traps
Themed around the update and release of the Imperial Service, but not requiring them. You can use the faction you love and build a 300-point list with adjusted SWC rules. It works in standalone missions or as a multi-week league and is compatible with every faction in the game.
Play the Bad Guy or the Good Guy (Depends Who You Ask)
Your actions throughout the campaign generate notoriety and prestige, tracked across sessions, and impact what bounty hunters you can unlock or what penalties you might face. If you go complete villain in front of a Warcor, the Öberhaus Special Council might sanction you.
Think of it like a living system of justice and propaganda, where your playstyle matters.
Why We Made This
Infinity has a vibrant setting, and we wanted something that felt more like the narratives we imagine between games. Inspired by Imperial Service lore, the Sunday of Tears, and covert ops in Kuraimori, this is our love letter to the underbelly of the Human Sphere.
We wanted tension, story, and asymmetry—something between a campaign and a tactical thriller. So we built it.
Try It, Break It, Make It Better
This is a living document. It’ll get better with community feedback, and we want your stories, critiques, and chaos. We would appreciate your feedback if you see any mistakes, want clarification, or have a wicked idea. If you run it at your local shop, with your meta, or at an event, let us know how it goes.
🕵️ Submit feedback below or in our official Discord channel for MANHUNT.

Also:
Are the Civilian Interrogation results meant to be rolled separately after a successful interrogation, or are they meant to be fixed to the civilian (they seem to match fluff-wise)? In the latter case, why would anyone want to interrogate GoGo Marlene?
Suggested alternative: Target any enemy model not in marker state.
We played Manhunt for the first time yesterday and had a great time. Ramah Task Force (Organisation) vs Druze (Task Force).
After two booby traps, Druze rolled a 20 on the third investigation and found the Fugitive (a Korsan). It was late in their turn though and they only managed to put it to unconscious (but in view of the Dragonlord), nothing else.
Tarik Mansuri picked up the corpse, CASEVACed and extracted it. Ramah discovered a HVT, but failed to do anything with it.
Second turn, Druze CIVEVACed the HVT but didn’t get to extract it. Ramah put Druze in LoL on their second turn, and Druze (barely) failed to get the HVT to safety due to the LoL limitations. Game ended 5:2 for Ramah.
Some questions came up:
1. Which group do the bonus Dragonlord and Warcor go into? Can they be attached to a group and thereby exceed the 10 trooper limit?
2. Placing discovered NPCs in within 8" can be very harsh on the discovering player, depending on board setup. Have you considered a smaller radius, or “within the building”?
3. Should there be an upper limit on the number of lead tokens? We had many buildings and could have had 12+ tokens, which might make it hard to find the fugitive at all. We decided on 8 tokens.
4. Which unit profile should be used for the fugitive?
Thanks for a great new way to play Infinity!

Thanks for all the feedback so far — keep it coming, report those “glaring typos,” Nathan!
This looks really cool! I have wanted a more narrative focused way to play Infinity since 2nd ed.
I would love to check this out, but download link doesn’t work.
Also, there are some pretty glaring typos in text. Hate to be that guy, but can’t help it.. :D
Sounds really interesting.
The link to the document does not seem to work.
Also, there’s no link to the discord channel mentioned.
